Grey Wolves Lose to Flamingos, 7-2
Las Vegas Flamingos starter Júlio Mora kept the Vancouver Grey Wolves hitters in check, leading his team to a comfortable 7-2 win. Mora, who is tied for 3rd in the SL in innings pitched with 54.0, went the distance for Las Vegas. He gave up 2 runs on 8 hits. The Flamingos saw their win-loss record go to 19-15. At the same time, the Grey Wolves fell to 13-21.

Hugh Kneecorn had a big 3-run home run for the Flamingos in the top of the third inning. With Las Vegas leading 2-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he sized up a sinker from Dionísio Zagallo, who is tied for 10th in the SL with a 1.18 WHIP, and punished it. The result was his 3rd home run of the season, which put the Flamingos on top, 5-0.
