The Mexico City Blue Demons had to overcome a fine effort from Echo Park pitcher Barry Davis to win, 4-2, at LA Forum. Davis went 7.2 innings and allowed 1 run. By defeating Echo Park, the third-place Blue Demons improved to 20-16.
Ooze Abraham Siebert was a prime factor in the win for the Blue Demons. In the top of the second with no one out, the 23-year old shortstop hit a 2-run single. He was 2 for 4 with 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI.
Mexico City manager JJ Hoban called it "a pretty good win."
