Blue Demons Losers, 5-3, Versus Ft. Worth
The Ft. Worth Cattlemen topped the Mexico City Blue Demons, 5-3, in United States Silver League action at Condor Nest. The game was highlighted by the performance of Ft. Worth pitcher Seung-gwan Kim. John Allen was credited with the save for Ft. Worth, his 11th of the season. Ft. Worth, at 19-19, sits in 7th place in the Silver League.

Willie Nelson dealt the Blue Demons a blow in the top of the fourth. Batting with runners on 2nd and 3rd and Ft. Worth leading 1-0, Nelson, who is tied for 5th in the SL in doubles with 10, hit a 1-2 fastball for a 2-run single.

"Seung-gwan -- his tempo and rhythm were good," said Cattlemen manager Scott Thompson. "He was the key to us winning."
