The Pittsburgh Kingfishers had their hands full with Baltimore Bullets starter George Hill, who frustrated Pittsburgh hitters while leading Baltimore to a comfortable, 6-0 win. Toichi Kodo earned save number 1. Pittsburgh's current losing streak is now 5 games.

Francis O'Farrell, who is tied for 8th in the SL in bases on balls with 19, took Pittsburgh hurler Nick Snyder deep in the bottom of the third. His solo home run put the Bullets on top, 1-0. In all, O'Farrell had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 3.
