The home crowd had a good time watching the Vancouver Grey Wolves and Mexico City Blue Demons get after it.

The Mexico City Blue Demons coasted to a win over the Vancouver Grey Wolves, 10-3. Mike Joseph had a good day at the plate for Mexico City. He went 3 for 3 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks. He scored 2 times. The winning pitcher was John McGrath. He tossed 98 pitches over 5.1 innings, allowing 3 runs on 6 hits.

Artie Banks had a big 2-run double for the Blue Demons in the bottom of the third inning. With Mexico City leading 2-1 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a fastball from Juan Hernández, who is tied for 4th in the SL with a 8.9 K/9 rate, and swatted a double to center. It was his 4th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Blue Demons ahead, 4-1.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Joseph told the Mexico City Daily. "It's as simple as that."

The 7th-place Grey Wolves have dropped 4 straight games.
