The Long Island Lighthouse defeated the Montana Pandas, 10-3, in part because of second baseman Joe Patrick. Patrick was 2 for 4 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3 for the Lighthouse. Eli Crawford picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 1-2. Andrés Chávez suffered the loss. The win elevated the Lighthouse to 28-15.

With Long Island leading 3-1 in the top of the fourth, Patrick hit a 2-run single off Montana hurler Pierre-Jean Jung. It was the 55th hit of the season for Patrick and put his team ahead, 5-1.

"Trying isn't good enough in this league," said Patrick. "You've got to get results."
