The Buffalo White Walkers scooped up a win at Beyond the Wall, dumping the Echo Park Lakers, 6-2. Salvador Pérez, who is tied for 2nd in the SL in wins with 5, was essential to his team's success. Pérez got the win, improving to 5-3. He gave up 3 hits and walked 3 over 6 innings. He allowed no runs. Tony Hurtado picked up the save, his 3rd.
Buffalo got a big at-bat from Cantley, Canada native Spencer Bonnar, who in the bottom of the first hit a 2-run double. It was his 11th double of the season and put the White Walkers ahead, 2-0.
"I think we did a good job of looking for pitches we wanted to hit and put good swings on them," said Buffalo skipper Chris Lau.
The Lakers, at 19-25, have lost 5 in a row.
