The Panama City Piranhas rode a solid performance from 22-year-old starting pitcher John Moore to a win, beating the Memphis Mockingbirds, 6-1, at Magnolia Park. Panama City has now won 5 games in a row.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Oscar Worthy? The Panama City second baseman had a 2-run double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Piranhas on top, 4-0. For the game, Worthy had 1 double and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
