Flamingos left fielder Jeffrey Ramírez put his stamp on his team's 5-4 win over the Long Island Lighthouse. Ramírez went 2-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for Las Vegas in the contest. Las Vegas now sits at 24-27, while Long Island falls to 32-19.

Ramírez had a timely hit for Las Vegas in the top of the eighth. With Las Vegas trailing 4-3, he turned a 0-1 fastball into a 2-run home run. It was his 1st home run of the season, making it 5-4, Las Vegas.

"You get some opportunities, you better take advantage of them," said Long Island manager Michael Esposito.
