Grey Wolves Pick Up 3-2 Win
|
The Vancouver Grey Wolves picked up a win at LA Forum, courtesy of Dionísio Zagallo. The right-hander helped his team stop the Echo Park Lakers, 3-2. The save was credited to Brad Carter, his 11th. At 25-26, Vancouver is in 8th place in the Silver League.
The Grey Wolves got a lift from third baseman Efren Alog, who in the top of the fifth stroked a 1-0 sinker to center for a run-scoring single. It was his 57th hit of the season and put the Grey Wolves ahead, 3-0.
"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Zagallo said.
