Patriots Suffer 5-4 Home Defeat
The MSL Toledo Stingers withstood a fine game by MSL Boston catcher Dudha Kaith at MSL Boston Ballpark, to upend the Patriots, 5-4. Kaith hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Julian Pomfret got the win, improving to 3-1. He held the Patriots to 1 run on 5 hits over 6.1 innings, while striking out 4 and walking 2. The Stingers have an impressive 8-5 record.

Marc Knapp, the MSL Toledo catcher, contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the third inning to make the score 2-0, Stingers. For the game, Knapp went 2 for 5 with 2 singles.

"It was sure nice to get the win but there's a lot of baseball left," Knapp after the game.
