Sánchez Bangs Out 5 Base Hits
Gabriel Sánchez exploded for a barrage of base hits at MSL Hollywood Ballpark.

The MSL Seattle third baseman had a field day in his team's 16-6 triumph over the MSL Hollywood Shredders, finishing 5-for-5.

"My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch."

Sánchez must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. Gabriel Sánchez doubled in the 2nd, hit a two-run double in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit an RBI single in the 7th and walked in the 9th.

Sánchez is batting .343 this year with 2 home runs, 6 RBIs and 5 runs scored. He has 12 hits in 35 at-bats.
