Stingers Squelch Billy Goats Offense in Shutout Win
The MSL Toledo Stingers went home winners at MSL Colorado Ballpark, thanks in large part to starter Julian Pomfret. Pomfret stifled the MSL Colorado Billy Goats, enabling MSL Toledo to grab the 3-0 win. The save went to Greg Thomas, his 8th this season. The triumph puts MSL Toledo at 11-8 for the season.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the top of the seventh, with the game tied, Jack Beiler was at the plate when MSL Toledo scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Stingers to go in front, 1-0.

MSL Toledo manager José Pinto said his team played a "no nonsense" game.
