Sharp Stars for Cattlemen in 11-4 Win
The Ft. Worth Cattlemen defeated the Las Vegas Flamingos, 11-4, at The Cattle Pen. Leading the charge for Ft. Worth was third baseman Julius Sharp. He was 3 for 4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. Jeremiah Cole, the winning pitcher, improved to 5-4. He pitched 6 innings, giving up 6 hits and 3 runs, while striking out 7 and walking 0. The Cattlemen improved their record to 31-25 with the win over Las Vegas.

In the first inning, Sharp had a grand slam home run for Ft. Worth. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Cattlemen on top, 6-2.
