Hurler Carlos Luna gave the MSL Boston Patriots a solid start. The native of Bayamón helped his team defeat the MSL Colorado Billy Goats, 3-0, at MSL Boston Ballpark. Domingo Soto earned the save for MSL Boston, his 3rd of the year. The Patriots go to 8-14 with the win.

The outcome was still in doubt with two out in the top of the fifth inning, but Luna was able to pitch out of a jam. With runners on 1st and 2nd and MSL Colorado trailing 2-0, Luna retired Kaapo Kakko, who lined out.
