|
Júlio Movales impressed in the 5-3 MSL Philadelphia win over MSL Colorado. Movales, who is tied for 6th in the PMSL in stolen bases with 3, was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Héctor Chavarría went 6.2 innings, allowing 3 runs on 10 hits. The right-hander struck out 5 and walked 6. With the win, he's now 2-2 this season. José Pérez recorded the save, his 3rd.
Miguel Vargas chipped in a 3-run home run for MSL Philadelphia in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the second baseman had 2 hits in 3 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 3 runs batted in.
