MSL Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids starter Carlos González led his team to victory over the MSL Pittsburgh Kingfishers, 4-1. The right-hander was locked-in. González picked up the win for MSL Northern Virginia, going 6 innings. He gave up no runs on 6 hits. He now sports a record of 8-0. Sean Littrell recorded the save, his 7th.

The Rainbow Mermaids got a big at-bat from catcher Joe Scott. For the game, Scott was 1-2 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2.
