Liberty Tag Stingers with 5-3 Loss
The MSL Philadelphia Liberty polished off the MSL Toledo Stingers by the score of 5-3. The largest share of the credit belonged to shortstop Seung Pan. Pan was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles for the Liberty. Thomas Hunt recorded the save, his 6th. The win for the Liberty raised their record to 18-9.

It could have been a different outcome for MSL Philadelphia, had it not been for Miguel Vargas, the 18-year old second baseman . Vargas contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth inning to put MSL Philadelphia up, 3-2.

"I like the makeup of this team," said Liberty manager Armando Ortíz.
