Rocketeers Deal Thunder 4-1 Defeat
|
The MSL Seattle Rocketeers knocked off the MSL Toronto Thunder, 4-1, in USPL Mexican Summer League action at MSL Thunder Ballpark. MSL Seattle pitcher and Richardson, Texas, native Tim George had an outstanding performance. The setback makes MSL Toronto 16-12.
MSL Seattle used the hitting of Yin-tou Qiu to pick up the win. The center fielder clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Rocketeers on top, 4-0. For the game, Qiu had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
"When Tim is on, he can really move the ball around," said MSL Seattle manager Ricardo Téllez.
