Led by Carlos Morales, the MSL Hollywood Shredders downed the MSL Toledo Stingers, 5-3. Morales went 1-2 with a home run and 2 walks. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Shredders. Sung-heun Kim earned the save for MSL Hollywood, his 5th of the year. With the win, MSL Hollywood pushed its record to 16-12.

MSL Hollywood took a 5-3 lead on Cakravata Tamhane's 2nd home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Tamhane hit in the bottom of the eighth, left MSL Toledo pitcher Junior López visibly frustrated.

"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Tamhane.
