Petherbridge Silences MSL Northern Virginia Bats
|
In a low-scoring contest between the MSL Colorado Billy Goats and the MSL Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids, 18-year old right-handed pitcher Dale Petherbridge proved to be the difference. The MSL Colorado right-hander earned props for his performance in the 3-2 Billy Goats win. Ding-bong Ren sewed up the save, his 10th. MSL Colorado currently is in 8th place in the PL MSL at 13-17.
Petherbridge, the MSL Colorado right-hander, went 8 innings, allowing no runs on 6 hits. He collected 6 strikeouts.
"When I throw strikes I'm good, if I don't I'm not very good," said Petherbridge. "So I just have to throw strikes."
