White Walkers Need Extra Frames to Get Past Rainbow Mermaids
|
No one was more impactful than Edgar Flores in the 4-3 MSL Buffalo win over MSL Northern Virginia. Flores, who is tied for 3rd in the PMSL with a .362 batting average, went 4 for 5 with a double, 3 singles, and a walk. MSL Buffalo pitcher Pete Godwin got the win, upping his record to 2-0. Ray Berard got the loss. MSL Buffalo sits in 7th place in the PL MSL at 14-17.
The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 12th. With one out, Flores hit a fastball from Ray Berard for a run-scoring single. The White Walkers, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
"It's what good teams do, find a way to win," said Flores.
