Billy Goats Lose to MSL Seattle, 4-1
|
The MSL Seattle Rocketeers picked up a win at MSL Seattle Ballpark, knocking off the MSL Colorado Billy Goats, 4-1. On the mound for MSL Seattle was right-hander Tim George. He played a key role in the triumph. Luis Antonio Vásquez earned the save for MSL Seattle. With the win, MSL Seattle raised its record to 18-13.
In the bottom of the second inning of a 0-0 tie, MSL Seattle second baseman Gabriel Sánchez reached on an error by the right fielder, driving in 2 run3. It broke the deadlock and put MSL Seattle on top, 2-0.
"We had a good game plan," George said, "and we were able to execute it."
