Rainbow Mermaids Handed 4-2 Loss by White Walkers
|
Despite a fine performance by designated hitter José Ventura, the MSL Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids lost to the MSL Buffalo White Walkers, 4-2. Ventura went 2-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 times. Scott Park nailed down his 7th save. The 'W' lifts MSL Buffalo's record to 15-18.
With two out in the bottom of the seventh, Seung-ho Kim had a game-changing hit. The White Walkers designated hitter slammed a run-scoring single off Jian-ying Chua, making the score 3-1, MSL Buffalo.
Said losing manager Leslie Brooks: "Give the White Walkers credit. They played a better game than we did."
