Mitch Brooks brought his A-game to help MSL Northern Virginia defeat the MSL Seattle Rocketeers, 1-0. The win gives MSL Northern Virginia a season record of 21-13.
Brooks yielded no runs on 5 hits over 8 innings for the Rainbow Mermaids. For the season, Brooks has a record of 5-4 with 57 strikeouts.
"I was a little disappointed," said MSL Seattle manager Ricardo Téllez. "We could've and should've scored more runs."
