Halliwell, MSL Toronto Prevail in Pitchers' Duel
In a tight tilt between the MSL Toronto Thunder and the MSL Hollywood Shredders, Vic Halliwell was the deciding factor. The MSL Toronto right-hander spearheaded the 2-1 win. Hirokichi Kato, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 3rd save. The win elevated the Thunder to 21-13.

Halliwell tossed 97 pitches over 7.1 innings to clinch the win for the Thunder. The right-hander allowed just 2 hits, while racking up 9 strikeouts in the game.

"A confident pitcher is a dangerous thing," said MSL Toronto manager Jake Grant. "That's what Vic is right now."
