Stingers Win, George has 4 hits
The exploits of shortstop Bruce George, who is tied for 6th in the PMSL in total bases with 74, helped the MSL Toledo Stingers defeat the MSL Buffalo White Walkers, 7-1. George went 4 for 4 with a home run, 3 singles, and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Picking up his 1st save was 18-year old right-handed pitcher Junior López. The 5th-place Stingers go to 17-19.

George made an early impact for MSL Toledo when he stroked his 5th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which came in the top of the first, put the Stingers on top, 3-0.

"We didn't play well enough to win," said MSL Buffalo skipper Emmett Amavizca.
