|
Behind the hitting of Gerald Hartnell, the Mexico City Blue Demons stopped the Philadelphia Liberty, 7-3. Hartnell was 2-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Blue Demons. Norman Davis closed the game out for Mexico City, earning his 3rd save. Philadelphia, at 33-26, has lost 7 straight.
Mexico City took a 7-3 lead on Hartnell's 7th home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which he hit off Miguel Martínez in the bottom of the eighth, propelled Mexico City to the win.
"Anytime you're seeing it well, it's a good feeling," Hartnell told the Mexico City Daily.
