White Walkers Handed 4-3 Loss by Cattlemen
|
Ft. Worth pitcher Kevin Brown did his part in helping his team beat the Buffalo White Walkers, 4-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. Brown yielded 2 runs over 6 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 4, and struck out 7. His record improves to 5-1. Ft. Worth, now 32-31, holds down 5th place in the Silver League.
Bill Brown hit a 2-run double off Gilberto Cruz in the bottom of the sixth, which put the Cattlemen in front, 3-1. In addition to the double, Brown had 2 singles, while going 3 for 4.
"It's nice to get the results when you're feeling good and throwing the ball well," said Brown after the game.
