Mexico City Triumphs with Late Surge
The Mexico City Blue Demons knocked off the Las Vegas Flamingos, 6-4, in United States Silver League action at The Strip. Mexico City pitcher and Lexington, Kentucky, native Mark Bowden had an outstanding performance. Steven Boon picked up his 1st save of the season. The 8th-place Blue Demons sport a record of 29-34.

With two out in the top of the eighth, Artie Banks had a game-changing hit. The Blue Demons catcher slammed a 2-run single off Eric Williamson, making the score 6-3, Mexico City.

"It's about putting our team in the best position to win ballgames," said Bowden.
