Luis Rojas pitched a gem to lead Pittsburgh to victory over the Long Island Lighthouse, 4-1. Cipriano Flores closed the game out for Pittsburgh, earning his 12th save. With the win, Pittsburgh raised its record to 36-31.

The Kingfishers got a big at-bat from third baseman Grant Cobb. For the game, Cobb went 1-3 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the sixth, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave Pittsburgh a 4-1 lead.

"It was just a matter of executing," said Pittsburgh manager Tyler Johnson.
