Grey Wolves Get Past Mexico City, 5-4
Mexico City right fielder Gerald Hartnell had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 5-4, to Vancouver at Condor Nest. Hartnell was 2 for 4 with a home run and a walk. At 35-34, the Grey Wolves claim 7th place in the Silver League.

The result might have been different, had it not been for 31-year old first baseman Edward Blakemore. Blakemore had a run-scoring double in the top of the tenth inning to put the Grey Wolves ahead, 5-4. For the game, Blakemore had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

In postgame comments, Blakemore said, "I think we gave the fans their money's worth."
