Jeffes Stretches Hit String to 25 Saturday, June 3rd , 2062 Nobody has been able to shut down Philadelphia Liberty left fielder Rhys Jeffes in recent days. The Vancouver Grey Wolves fared no better than the rest. Today at Liberty Park, Jeffes picked up 2 hits in 4 at-bats en route to a win, 9-3. It stretched his hitting string to 25 consecutive games. Rhys Jeffes flied out in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit an RBI double in the 5th and flied out in the 7th. Currently Jeffes is batting .323 with 5 home runs and 18 RBIs. |
