Dave Hennessey, the Pittsburgh Kingfishers 23-year-old right fielder, put himself in the spotlight last week making him the clear-cut choice for United States Silver League Player of the Week honors. He ripped 11 hits in 18 at-bats, compiling a .611 average with 2 home runs and 8 RBIs. For the season, Hennessey is currently batting .348 with 6 home runs and 22 RBIs. In 30 games he has reached base at a .436 rate and scored 15 runs to date. |
