It's Over: Thunderbirds Stop Blake Sunday, July 16th , 2062 After 20 games, Florida second baseman Mike Blake saw his hitting streak end when he went hitless in 4 at-bats. However, the Men still managed to take the win, topping the Hamilton Thunderbirds, 6-2, at Coyote Wildlife Refuge. "It was a good run," Blake said after the game. "It was bound to end at some point. I'm just glad we won the day it ended." In his season totals Blake has 11 home runs and a .327 batting average. |
