Players Suspended in Squirrel Monkeys-Brass Donnybrook Saturday, June 30th , 2063 Sam McElroy of the Syracuse Squirrel Monkeys and Sixto Espinosa of the Baton Rouge Brass received notification from the league commissioner's office that they had been suspended for 3 and 7 games respectively for their part in the on-field ruckus in a recent game at The Zoo in Syracuse. For the year, McElroy is batting .265 with 8 home runs. So far this year, Espinosa has made 9 relief appearances with no saves, thrown 14.1 innings and struck out 9 with a 1-1 record. |
