Hit Streak Now at 20 for Lawler Thursday, July 13th , 2062 Cangrejos Fantasmas shortstop Bill Lawler has extended his hitting streak to 20 games. He went 3-for-5 in today's game against the Barton Springs Blues. Chesapeake won the ballgame, 8-7. "Got a hit and a win," he said later. "OK, I'll take it." Bill Lawler flied out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, grounded out in the 5th, singled in the 8th and singled in the 9th. So far in 2062 Lawler is batting .295 with 7 home runs, 28 RBIs and 25 runs scored. He has 39 hits in 132 at-bats and a .338 OBP. |
