Bad Behavior Costs Jones and Vázquez Monday, July 2nd , 2063 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Ithaca-Gulf Coast contest at Mobile Home Park. The Fighting Imps Gerald Jones and the Turbeaus Ánibal Vázquez will have to sit out 2 and 6 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. This season, Jones is batting .265 with 22 hits, 1 home run, 7 RBIs, .378 OBP and has scored 13 runs. On the season, Vázquez has compiled a 3-4 mark with a 5.71 ERA in 10 starts. In pitching 58.1 innings he has 41 strikeouts and 16 walks while limiting the opposition to a .331 batting average. |
