CF Peters Receives 2-Game Suspension Saturday, June 9th , 2063 The agitation was hot and heavy at The Zoo yesterday. After a called third strike Puffer Fish center fielder Stan Peters protested the call in no uncertain terms. While he and the home plate umpire were jawing face-to-face, a few bumps took place and Peters was ejected from the game. "It was verbal, nothing more," according to Peters. However, the league frowned on what transpired and suspended him for 2 games. "The league will never tolerate a player touching an umpire in anger," the commissioner said in the suspension notification. This year, Peters is batting .308 with 40 hits and 5 home runs.
