League Suspends Gilbert and Swanson for Brawl Saturday, June 16th , 2063 Ron Gilbert of the Northwest Territory Beavers and Michael Swanson of the Redwood Rhinos will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 4 and 2 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Beavers-Rhinos game at Beaver Town. Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Gilbert and Swanson will begin serving them soon. So far this year, Gilbert is batting .310 with 4 home runs and 14 RBIs. For the season, Swanson has 1 save, tossed 10 innings, fanned 9 batters and produced an ERA of 3.60. He has also been credited with 1 win and no losses. |
