Cajuns Pitching Ravaged by Vargas Tuesday, July 18th , 2062 Claudio Vargas got the glory and the headlines, but the Crowley Cajuns left with the win. The Hudsonville third baseman easily handled the Cajuns pitching, going 5-for-5, but his Hudsonville Flanderses came out on the short end of the 5-2 score. Vargas told BNN reporters in the postgame interview he would happily trade "three or four" of his hits for a win. "Heck, maybe even all of them," he said with a laugh. "Right now, it just seems like one loss in a long season but who knows what it could mean at the end."
