Samorukov Raps Surprise for 5 Hits Wednesday, July 4th , 2063 5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but Bethlehem's Aleksandr Samorukov made it happen against the Shockers. Everything came together at the plate for the 20-year-old center fielder as he collected 5 hits in 7 at-bats -- and helped the Angel Kitties triumph, 5-4, at Kittie Park. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Samorukov said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em." Aleksandr Samorukov singled in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, singled in the 8th, flied out in the 9th and hit an RBI single in the 12th.
