On a Roll: Pérez Hits for Cycle Friday, June 8th , 2063 Manny Pérez had a banner day at the plate, stringing together all four legs of the cycle as the MSL Northern Virginia Rainbow Mermaids beat the MSL Seattle Rocketeers, 13-11. Pérez drilled 4 hits in 5 at-bats, collecting 5 RBI and scoring 4 runs to capture the win for MSL Northern Virginia. "I was fortunate to see some good pitches and I was fortunate to be able to make the most of them," he said later. "It was a good day for us." Manny Pérez struck out in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, hit a three-run triple in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off Virgil Ziesemer in the 8th.
