Lindley Gets 5 Hits Sunday, June 10th , 2063 Rob Lindley exploded for a barrage of base hits at MSL Long Island Ballpark. The MSL Memphis center fielder had a field day in his team's 11-7 triumph over the MSL Long Island Lighthouse, finishing 5-for-5. "My hitting philosophy is simple," he said. "I focus on just seeing the ball and I try to get a good pitch." Lindley must have focused at least 5 times and apparently got some good pitches, too, leading to one of his best days ever with the bat. Rob Lindley singled in the 1st, hit a GRAND SLAM off Elton Willetts in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Juan Contreras in the 6th and doubled in the 7th. This season, Lindley is swinging the bat at a .338 rate with 25 hits in 74 at-bats. To date he has hit 4 home runs, scored 15 runs and driven in 13. View Boxscore View Game Log |
