Thomas Bangs Out 6 Base Hits
Wednesday, June 6th , 2063
It takes more than one player to win a baseball game - as proven by Chris Thomas of the Providence Pilgrims.

The Providence shortstop gave it his all and dominated Northville Eclipse pitching at Field of Plenty, finishing with a great 6-for-6 line. However, when the game ended, the scoreboard showed the Eclipse going home the winner, 15-7.

"There's no point gloating about a 6-hit day in a loss," Thomas said. "A loss just means you should have done more. Maybe I should have hit 6 home runs instead."

Chris Thomas singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.

For the season, Thomas is currently batting .207 with 4 home runs and 5 RBIs. In 29 games he has reached base at a .307 rate and scored 12 runs to date.
